Turbulence Training Review

Turbulence Training is one of the more popular training systems for getting a lean body.
Turblence Training was developed by Craig Ballantyne. Ballantyne is one of the better known authorities in the fitness sector. Ballantyne writes for both Men’s Health and Oxygen magazine. He’s even been on TV, helping out with the Biggest Loser show.

Turbulence Training is different than most of other fitness programs out there. With Turbulence Training, Ballantyne has developed a really unique program of total body fitness that is one of the most powerful systems for complete body transformation.

The program is really designed for people who are already pretty fit, but need to break through for that last level of lean. If you really want to get lean and hard then this is the system for you. but if you’re not up for a super intense workout look elsewhere.

The name of the program is a good indicator of how the system works. The basic concept is to provide a turbulent and intense workout that radically improves your strength, lowers body fat and gets you into incredible shape. The focus os on short, but really intense sets that exercise multiple muscle groups in every session.

You won’t have to spend hours and hours working out with Turbulence Training. The program is designed for 3 workouts per week. Each session is designed for 45 minutes of intense strength training and interval training.

As I understand it, this kind of training burns a lot of calories right away, but more importantly boosts your metabolism so that your resting calorie burn is increased. That means more weight loss while you rest and sleep, which is what we do most of the time.

So how does it work?

Turbulence Training provides an organized way to set up your training program. In each session you will do supersets that are strategically combined into a complete workout session. The sets are desgined to work two major muscle groups in each session. For example, a superset might have you do sets of bench press and sets of squats. The idea is to really get your metabolism stoked up so that you continue to burn calories well after you stop working.

You will follow a program that maximizes effectiveness by adding variety at just the right time. That keeps you from hitting a plateaus that most of us experience.

I’ve been testing the system and I can say that it works, but be prepared for some of the most intense, but short workouts of your life.

While Turbulence Training focuses on the workouts, Ballantyne adds in some bonus books that focus on what is the best food to eat. For this kind of information, I actually prefer Burn the Fat. Tom Venuto really gives some good dietary advice in that book.

Overall, I strongly recommend Turbulence Training for those that are looking for a great and intense workout program that will put them on a clear path to a lean body. If you are completely out of shape, don’t start with this. Try Burn the Fat first, then once your at a good fitness level get this to take you to the next level.

Turbulence Training price and purchase information

There are a couple of options when buying Turbulence Training, you can get the deluxe bonus pack for $77 or the basic version for $39.95. I went with the deluxe version because you get a lot more information about the program and how to make it work. The small extra amount is a worthwhile investment in getting a leaner body.
